Be Prepared

  • Be at school on time.
  • Have the correct books and stationery.
  • Have your diary with you.
  • Complete all homework and projects.
  • Dress appropriately, example: Sports
  • Move quickly and orderly.

Be Respectful

  • Respect those in your school family.
  • Have respect for yourself, others ant the environment.
  • Be courteous to all.
  • Use appropriate language,
  • Use equipment appropriately.
  • No class disruptions.
  • No bullying.
  • No stealing
  • No in-appropriate behaviour

Be Aware

  • Remember that the Common Good is greater than your own needs.
  • Only tell the truth.
  • Think before you speak or act.
  • Use a controlled tone of voice.

Stage 1

Student’s name will be entered on the Tracking Sheet, which is kept in the Observation Book and a warning will be issued. Teachers send the Observation Book to be monitored by the HOD every week.
Student has 3 chances before reaching Stage 2.


Stage 2

Parents will be informed in writing. Students will be given an essay to write at home. Parents are to sign the essay. Student will be placed on.
Daily Report by the HOD.

Stage 3

Parents will be contacted by phone and in writing. Parents are to sign a letter. Student will be placed on Detention. Daily Report will continue. After 3 detentions the learner will be reported to the Principal.

Stage 4

Parents will be contacted by phone and in writing. Parents will be asked to come in for a meeting with the Principal. A written record will be made and kept of this meeting

A Disciplinary Hearing

Serious offences will result in formal disciplinary hearings of the Governing Body, possible suspension and expulsion procedures.
